The concept of the International Working Camp 2012 (I-WoCa 2012) is different from the previous years. This year we are covering not only the local and national level, but we are also inviting participants from other countries. The Environmental and Rural Department is going to make a change and to reform the program into International level with three goals, i.e. community service, extracting natural resources, and togetherness. The three main objective scan actually be regarded asa system,interrelation and mutually continuous package in the concept of "Triple Helix", which consists of Education, Utilization and Brotherhood. The education is like presenting materials intended to give knowledge to the participants and the public about the environment around the area. So it creates a sense of mutual safeguard and preserve the environment. The utilization is maximizing the local genius in order to maximally utilize the local potentials. The Brotherhood is an activity perform to build a sense of brotherhood and solidarity among the organizers, participants, and community. This event is fully supported by Brawijaya University Malang, and several sponsors who support this event so much.
The International Working Camp 2012 will be held at 11-15 July, 2012 in two main places, Poncokusumo and Kondang Merak Beach, Malang. The International Working Camp 2012 invites you to take part of it, and opened for academics, students, and anyones who interested to join with us. You are able to join with complete registration that would be clearly explained at the guideline. The Registration Session 2 is CLOSED.
